"(Name)!" Laito called as he entered her room without knocking. Said girl sighed in irritation. They always did that, and it annoyed her to no end! She had complained about it to Reiji, but he simply responded with, "This is our home, so you must abide by our rules." (Name) sat up on her bed, "I'm not changing anytime soon, bloodsucker, so you can leave now." She grumbled, obviously not in the mood to be fucked with. There was a bandage wrapped around her wrist, and she looked drained of energy. Laito chuckled at her reaction, "I'm not in here to catch a peek of you changing, I can do that some other time." He walked over to her dresser, and began pulling clothes out.

"Oi!" (Name) exclaimed, getting up, "Just what do you think you're doing, pervert!?" She stormed over to him. Laito smirked as he pulled out a pair of (F/C) panties. "Oh, cute." He teased her, letting her snatch the pair from his hands, "Don't go looking through my underwear!" She yelled at him, her cheeks turning red. "What do you even want anyways!? Stop coming in my room!" Laito shook his head out her outburst, his cocky grin remaining, "I'm picking out your outfit for today, little girl!" He patted her head before rummaging through her clothes once more. "What? No way, Jose! Today's my day off! No vampires for today!"

Laito laughed, "Not anymore! All my brothers are busy, so we're going to go somewhere nice." (Name) crossed her arms, "I don't want to go." She said bitterly. Laito glanced at her, "Oh, but you don't have a choice, little girl." He finished picking out her outfit and handed it to her, "Here, change into this." (Name) refused to take the clothes, causing Laito to sigh, "I see, you want to be a problem child today." He set the clothes down and walked closer to her and kneeled down, beginning unbutton her shirt. "Wha-Hey!" (Name) stepped back, slapping his hand away from her. "No touching!" He looked up at her, "I'm giving you two options, (Name). Either you dress yourself," He stood up, "Or I dress you." He winked at her.

(Name) scowled, "Fine, I'll dress myself! Now get the hell out, creep!" She pushed him over to the door. Laito snickered and let her push him out of the room, "Don't make me wait, (Name)!" He told her once he was in the hall. "Or else, I'll have to punish you." The door was instantly slammed in his face. "Stupid vampire!" (Name) grumbled under her breath.

 "I heard that!" Laito called.

"Good!" (Name) replied, "You remind yourself of how annoying you are then!"

Laito leaned against (Name)'s door. It had been a month and this was the first time he was spending time with her. of course, he talked with her a few times. She was nothing close to Yui, and he wasn't sure to feel irritated or relieved. Yui was nice to have around, but (Name) was more interesting than Yui. (Name) didn't follow the rules like Yui had. She stuck to her own schedule, and getting her under their control was no easy task. She had been more willing to give blood, but she still showed resistance in several areas. Only now she didn't jump out of windows anymore. He found it surprising that she hadn't broken a bone yet. Humans, as he grew up knowing, were fragile and weak, but this girl was stronger than most. He hadn't seen her break down once.

 (Name) was interesting.

Laito still found himself wondering what would've happened if Yui had never been taken away. He never would've met (Name) obviously. Yui's blood had felt more powerful than (Name)'s, but blood was blood. It didn't matter now, because they had a blood supply, and that was all that Reiji seemed to care about. Except now, Reiji was a bit more possessive of (Name). Subaru, Kanato, Shuu were too. Laito hadn't had a big opinion of (Name) yet and Ayato was still very angry with (Name). It would take (Name) awhile before she could appeal to his brother.

The door to (Name)'s room opened and Laito stood up straight watching as she walked into the hall and placed her hands on her hips, "This outfit is stupid." She told him, her eyes narrowed. She was a wearing a light red thigh-high skirt and a black tank top, she wore black thigh-high socks and sneakers. Laito chuckled, "But you look cute." He reached over and grabbed her hand, "Now, come along, little girl!" He began walking down the hallway. "Let me go, I know how to walk, moron!" She exclaimed, annoyed at his actions. Laito didn't let go of her hand, instead, his grip tightened. (Name) struggled for a few moments, but then let him have his way. She was too tired to fight him or anyone else today. She was becoming scared, she was getting used to them. Were they combing her to the way they wanted?

(Name) sighed aloud. She was so used to this strange schedule. She couldn't even tell if she wanted to stay or leave anymore. Is this how Yui felt while she had been held captive by the Sakamaki brothers? Had they treated Yui like this? Taking her blood whenever they wanted, treating her like she was their property and nothing else but that. (Name) hated the thought, but she was beginning to think that there was no escape. She could feel her heart race at the thought.

 She couldn't be trapped again.

Did they even know how long she had spent trying to escape her adoptive mother? The woman who had once been so kind and caring, but turned cold and mean as soon as she was hurt by the man she loved. (Name) suffered through that until she was able to escape, and here she was, trapped by six vampires, who only wanted her for her blood. It was unfair, but now (Name) wasn't fighting them much anymore. She wanted to, but she felt discouraged by them. They caught her quickly and she often suffered injuries from it. With the brothers taking her blood on top of that, she was beginning to feel hopeless. A part of her still wanted to try, but the other part just wanted to give up. She was confused on what to feel. She began to avoid them as much as she could but there was no escaping a vampire.

They walked down the staircase, the chandelier dimly lighting the room and it's crystals casting light onto (Name)'s delicate skin. Laito noticed her silence. It wasn't like her to be silent. The (Name) he had known for the past month had been mouthy and rude, but this was a new side of her. Had the other brothers seen her like this? He decided to lighten the mood, "So, (Name), did anyone tell you that you look good in a skirt?" He wrapped an arm around her shoulder, which she instantly shrugged off. "Yeah, you, perv." She responded, scoffing at him. The sad demeanor he had felt had disappeared. He was happy now. He wondered what had made her so quiet and upset. Come to think of it, he didn't really know much about (Name). He never bothered to try.

"You're too quiet, don't be so creepy." She commented, now being the once to break the returned silence. She rose an eyebrow at Laito, but that weirdness she had felt went away as he pulled her closer to her. "Aw, but I have to be." He replied with a playful pout, "It's not fun when you're amused, that's my job!" He brought his face close to her's and placed his finger on his nose, "Honestly, (Name), what kind of vampire would I be if I wasn't creepy?" (Name) rolled her eyes at him and swiped his face away from her face, fighting a blush, "An annoying one." She retorted, "Oh, wait, you already are." Laito smirked at her comment, "Quite the smart-ass," He replied, pulling away from her face, but kept his arm wrapped around her shoulder. He laughed, "But I guess that's why I like having you around."

As they reached the bottom the staircase, he looked forward, "Now," He started to speak.

 "Let's get going."

~*~

"A fair..." (Name)'s eye twitched in irritation. It was dark outside, but all the bright colours surrounding the fair lit up the night sky. It amazed for (Name) for about 5 seconds before she scowled, "You idiot!" She attempted to slap him upside the head, "I thought this was something important, and you brought me to a dumb fair!" Laito quickly grabbed her wrist, his other hand sneaking to her waist, he brought the young human girl closer to him. (Name) struggled for a moment before letting him hold her. "I was bored and I thought you could enjoy it with me." He responded, trying to play the situation off so no one got suspicious of the two. "It's so lonely being in that mansion all day, don't you wanna spend time with me?" He brought his lips to her ear, "If you say no, (Name), I won't be so happy." His tone had grown dark and it sent a shiver down her back.

She pushed him back and crossed her arms, "Fine!" She agreed, her face showing a light pink tint. She looked off to the side, "Let's get this over with!" Laito was shocked to see her flustered, normally her face would be red but that was usually anger. He felt a slight pounding in his heart. What was this feeling? He had felt it before, but it was a long time ago. "..." He was quiet before he grabbed (Name)'s hand, putting on one of his usual grins to hide the hesitation he felt, "Let's go get on some rides."

(Name) let Laito pull her around. Together, they went on most of the rides, and to see him laughing almost made her smile. It was cute, like in a childish way. The Laito she knew was a perverted jokester, but seeing this side of him made feel a bit more comfortable. Her feelings towards the brothers had grown conflicting. She was beginning to get used to having them around. It's the feeling Stockholm Syndrome, She told herself, denying the fact that she did like them. She was only a blood packet or entertainment, nothing special.

She suddenly frowned as she watched him throw the rings at the bottles. "This is rigged!" He hissed, growing irritated. (Name) looked away and saw the House of Mirrors across from this booth. She had to get away, no matter how adorable he looked right now, she still needed to get out of here and he had handed her the perfect opportunity. She put on a fake smile, "You got this, Laito!" She cheered him on and pointed to the stuffed tiger on the top shelf, "If you win, I want that."

Laito chuckled, "Don't underestimate me, little girl!" He replied and handed the man running the booth another five dollars, "One more round!" (Name) began to walk backwards as Laito started to throw the ring, and once he had looked away from her completely, she took off, running into the crowd of people and to the House of Mirrors. There was probably a back exit she could use to make her escape and it would be harder for that bloodsucker to find her. She had a feeling this wouldn't work, he was harder to trick, but she was hoping she could make it.

She entered the House of Mirrors and took off down a hallway, desperate to get out of there. She could hear spooky sounds playing over a sound system, but either way, she wasn't enjoying it. Laito had probably noticed by now, it was obvious. Running from a vampire wasn't as easy at it seemed. She ignored the funny reflections on the mirrors as she ran, but now she was beginning to feel lost. Had this all been pointless? She felt tears begin to well up in her eyes. She couldn't give up yet. She had to know if everyone was okay. Gavin, Yui, the church. Had the brothers lied to her and murdered everyone that she cared about? She had to know they hadn't gone back on their promise, even though she was going back on her's. She wanted to escape, wouldn't anyone in a situation where they were terrified that they weren't going to make it to the next day?

How did Yui survive them? How had (Name) managed to defy them so many times? She had so many questions, but it was too late to turn back and demand answers. If she faced Laito, she knew she would be in the ground by morning. His rage was something not to be messed with. She panted as she ran, wanting to stop and replenish her lungs, but she forced herself to keep running. The back exit had to be somewhere and she was determined to find it.

She turned the corner to another hallway but froze as she heard a distant voice, "Oh, (Name), where are you?" It was Laito. His voice was so sweet, but she could sense the darkness behind it. She started to run once more, trying to keep her panting down so that he didn't hear her. Fear began to seep into her veins, pushing her to go faster and faster, telling her she had to get away from him or she would never see the light of day again. I have to, I have to! She kept thinking, but she was no match for the red-headed vampire.

"Found you!" Before she could utter anything, she was pushed up against one of the mirrors, felt his chest pressing against her back. "You've got some nerve, you bitch," He growled, his grasp on the wrists so tight it could almost break a bone. "You leave me all alone, and I even won you that stupid tiger." He closed his eyes, listening to her struggle to get away. "No human can escape a vampire, my little (Name)." He pushed his lips to her neck, "Remember that." After finishing those two words he sunk his fangs into the flesh, drinking her bittersweet blood. (Name) gasped out at the pain, tears falling down her cheeks. It wasn't from the pain, she had gotten used to that, it was the fact she had been caught. I'll never see them again, She thought, thinking of her friends as their faces popped up in her mind.

Laito drank for a few minutes before pulling away. He reached down and picked up the stuffed tiger that he had dropped. "Here." He turned her around and shoved the animal into her arms and wiped away her tears, "You look ugly with those tears." He commented, making her winkle her nose at his touch. He saw that the mark was still bleeding and he licked at it, causing her to flinch in pain "I'll punish you more later tonight." He told her, still unhappy with the way she had run off. He slid off his jacket and wrapped it around her, "But for right now, I want to go on one last ride before we leave."

(Name) looked down at the stuffed tiger and slowly nodded her head, "...Alright." She managed to say. She followed him out of the House of Mirrors, seeing that no one had even seen the two enter or leave. She brought her head down, resisting to cry anymore tears. If Laito saw, he'd punish her more. And what was going to happen later was quite enough for her. She held back a sigh as she walked a few steps behind him, like he was her boss. In a way, he was. Nothing would fix anything between them. She had betrayed his trust, how could he ever forgive her for doing that?

Yet, he didn't understand. None of the brothers did. She was terrified, and she had kept strong for so long but now she was so close to breaking down. They didn't see that, they were so oblivious. She clutched the tiger tightly to her chest. The stuffed animal was cute and Laito had won it for her. Did he care for her at all? She shook her head. She had tricked him, that's why he had got it. It was because she had tricked him.

"Ready?" Laito asked, turning to look at her. His smile was gone and she saw that as she looked at his face. He had his hand held out to her. She looked around. They were at the Ferris wheel. "..." She didn't say anything, but placed her hand in his, continuing to hold the tiger to her chest. Together, they got on one of the lifts and the man closed the door. Slowly, but steadily, the Ferris wheel began to move. (Name) looked at her lap, not speaking.

 "(Name)."

Laito's voice made her peek up at him. He was looking at her, "You can't keep running forever, you know." His voice was serious rather playful or dark. "I know you miss your friends, but you're safer with us. Understand that." He continued on and sighed when she didn't respond, "What you did, was stupid. I was..." He rubbed the back of his neck, "I was worried that someone had taken you and I didn't believe you had run off." He explained, "Yet I only noticed your scent as I entered that house and I realized that you disobeyed me."

(Name) closed her eyes and waited for the sharp hit to come, but she only felt a pair of lips touch her forehead. "I'm angry." He told her, after a moment had passed, "But you'll hear that tonight. I really just wanted to enjoy this view with you."

The lift that Laito and (Name) were in stopped at the top. (Name) opened her eyes, which widened at the view. Though with the bright lights, the moon was shining as well, gaining attention the human girl. The whole fair was lit up in beautiful colours and she could see people walking below. It was a beautiful sight and she stared with awe. "Whoa..." Laito managed to smile at that and observed her for a moment before the lift started moving once more, bringing them back down.

(Name) looked down at the tiger, for some reason, knowing that this was from Laito gave her a sense of security. Laito noticed this, and smiled grew slightly, "So, little (Name), what are you going to name him?" He asked.

 (Name) smiled, "Laito."
